Drivers wanted? Not likely. More like gullibles wanted for a poorly built and designed line of vehicles marketed as the must-have of the people. Read stories from actual VW owners and make your own decision. Have a story to tell? Send it in.

Special Story

Some time ago at ihatevw.com, I received a story from a non-owner. While this person may not have succeeded in the most intelligent of fashions, I thought it would be interesting to post the message as this is somewhat of the point here. As many of us regrettable VW owners know, we probably should not have fallen for the hype created by VW and listened to stories like this.

I’m a body man and I have had to work on a few of these poorly-designed cars. Most foreign cars are pretty simple. These are some of the stupidest vehicles ever. You couldn’t give me one. You’re all dumb @** retards for buying one.

Similarly, I received this story from yet another mechanic/technician.

Over the years I have been a technician at dealerships dealing with five different car lines including Subaru, Toyota, Hyundai, Mitsubishi, and VW. I have been a VW tech for the past four years now. I honestlty can’t believe that VW is still in the business of making cars after some of the crap I’ve seen. Customers spending literally $#36;5,000+ on their car within only a few years after the warranty has expired. The tremendous amounts of money, effort, and time at the dealer these cars require to stay on the road is simply astounding. I would personally never in my wildest dreams even consider purchasing a VW whether it be new or used. Please do yourself a favor and stay away from VW/Audi.
