The problems started immediately…

STORY:

The problems started immediately. Within two months, the car was back at the dealer for a mystery power loss and whistling noice from the radio when the A/C was on. They told me I was imagining BOTH issues. “Could not duplicate,” they said. After I specifically told them how to make the radio howl, they admitted it was a problem and fixed it.

Then one day I put the window down and CRACK; the driver’s window fell into the door and would not go back up. Another two days without the car.

The MAF sensor went at 48,000 miles and the car had no power at all until I replaced it. The turbo went at 60,000 miles. The brake switch blew two weeks later, leaving me with no brake lights at all until I brought it in for the recall. Then, the day after the brake switch was replaced, all four wheels locked up and the car was undriveable. I had to have it ftatbedded back to the shop where they told me the master cylinder and brake booster were shot, requiring replacement.

All in all, this car has cost me nearly $3,000 in repairs. My old pickup, at 19 miles per gallon, was FAR more economical. I would not buy another one of these crapwagons at gunpoint. Would not take one as a gift.
