This is my first, and last VW!
STORY:
I have had this car a little over three years; it had 47,000 miles on it when I bought it. Since the day I bought it, I took it in for service to the dealer religiously.
Shortly after my 60,000 mile service, it broke down while I was driving. I had suspicions that the dealership was screwing me over, so I took the car elsewhere to get repaired. My new shop told me it looked as if the car had never been serviced! After a complete tune-up, several parts replaced and a few hundred dollars later, I was on my way, but not for long.
Since then I have had my cylinder coils replaced twice, my coolant sensor replaced, and now my car is having trouble shifting gears… could be clutch, synchronizers, who knows!
Some other quirks include a passenger door that only shuts if you slam it. I’ve had my passenger window replaced, my hand-brake cords replaced, and I have to replace a headlight bulb at least every couple of months.
This is my first, and last VW! Can’t wait to trade it in!
