I purchased a 2009 diesel Jetta Sportswagen brand new from the dealership. I keep up with maintenance without delay. Out of the blue, driving along one day, my Jetta loses power and stalls at a busy intersection. No worries entered my mind as I thought, it’s under warranty. Little to my knowledge, the dealership calls two days later saying the whole fuel system is shot due to “fuel contamination.” BULLSHIT! I was charged for the cost of towing, the rental they provided me, and a hefty $10,000 repair cost for a car still under warranty!! The car is still not working! VW does not care about their customers. They only care about their next sale. The dealership said I should “report it to my insurance to see if they will cover the costs.” Outrageous! WHY? So my premiums can go up! So Volkswagen doesn’t have to take responsibility for the piece of shit they supply the market. DO NOT deal with Volkswagen! I have already reported this to the BBB, NHTSA, Lemon Law, etc. I will report them to any outlet applicable, and to anyone who will listen. Absolute SCAMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!
