So I got my 2000 VW Jetta as a gift from my grandparents to help with college since my dad got my last car taken cuz of his debt issues. Since we bought it, it’s been a pain in my @**. The passenger window would roll down but you had to pull it to roll it back up. Then one day out of the blue, the driver’s window just decides to fall into the door. The brakes and rotors go out like light bulbs and the transmission is starting to get iffy when it’s shifting gears. Now the car alarm has locked down and won’t let me start the car…WTF. I mean seriously, I expected “good German engineering” and “reliable transportation”. Why else would a young guy like me not get an American muscle car? LOL! I don’t know how but I got better gas mileage on my Monte Carlo SS than this Jetta piece-of-sh!t. Whatever; I’m selling it ASAP! I now officially hate VW.
