Touareg is a fun SUV to drive but…
I’ve had numerous problems with it while it was under warranty including having to replace the transaxle (for $4,000) as well as a number of problems with TPMS. The vehicle has leprosy - interior fit and finish is horrible. Parts, paint, and finish all just fall off. The vehicle also EATS tires and brakes. 56,000 miles on third set of tires - V Rated, 50,000 warranty tires that last 25-35 miles. I’m also now on the third set of brakes.
