I bought this POS convertible with 32,000 on it. Five days after the purchase, the rear passenger window dropped. Two weeks after that the driver’s window dropped. VW told us although 2002 had a recall 2003 does not because the defect was fixed…obviously not. The two other windows followed suit within two months. The car went in for an airbag sensor recall. One month later the airbag light came on. I was told by VW that it was the “OTHER” sensor and it would be $400. Then the kicker, the top would not go down. I was told by VW that it would be $3,000 for both top motors. The car now has 42,000 miles and every window is rigged up and the top won’t work and the airbag and engine light is on. I WILL NEEEEEVVVVVEEEEERRRRR own another VW!!!!!!!
