When I purchased the car, it ran great! I loved it and maintained it as well as you can take care of a car. Starting on the year that the warranty expired, the check engine light came on, and never stopped being on no matter how much you did to fix it. The heater core failure happened, and I had to threaten legal action for them to fix the issue free of charge. When my clutch failed, they told me it was my fault, but I had a Toyota before this car that I drove for 180,000 miles with no clutch issues ever. I leave my key in the car hoping someone will steal it, but no one wants the damn thing. I will preach to every person I know or ever will know that VW sucks and no one should buy one.
