No one can figure out why my Golf is getting only 20 mpg on average. Roughly 220 miles per tank at 11 gallons per fill up - that makes this the thirtiest 4-cylinder car ever. I thought 4 cylinders were supposed to be economical…this isn’t even the turbocharged engine. At 20 mpg, I would rather be driving a sports car than this underpowered POS.
