I was excited to buy my 2002 VW Golf TDI (the gas mileage I receive from my diesel VW is nearly unbeatable). However, the problems (mostly electrical and annoying) will prevent me from ever buying another VW.
I have had the rain pouring in through the leaking sunroof, only to have drains cleaned. The sunroof opens for no apparent reason. The windows have broken. Issues started only a month after the car was purchased.
And don’t try to trade in this car for any reasonable amount. the new dealer doesn’t want to try and sell this c$@*!!!
